For CT, two basic things:

  1. As you increase the frequency (ω₀), the sinusoidal oscillation gets faster and faster, and each different frequency produces a unique signal. There’s no ambiguity.
  2. e^(jω₀t) is periodic for any value of ω₀. No matter what frequency you choose for a continuous-time complex exponential, it will always be periodic.
